If you are looking for a RV Campground that is modern but also has all the luxuries you crave, we’ve found a hidden gem for you! Located inside one of Georgia’s oldest state parks, Vogel State Park Campground will ensure that you never run out of adventures. The campground has a number of amenities such as bike rentals, playground, mini golf, private swimming beach and picnic areas. The campground also has a General Store and is pet friendly. Each site is pull thru, has a picnic table and a fire ring. In 2021 and 2022 it was awarded the Camendium Campers Choice Award.
What’s Around
Vogel State Park has over 100 RV sites and each site gives you access to Brasstown Bald, Blood Mountain and the Chattahoochee River. Enjoy hiking? Although you can choose from a variety of trails, the most popular is the 4-mile Bear Hair Gap Loop. This easy lake loop takes you to Trahlyta Falls. Looking for something more challenging? Try the 13-mile Coosa Backcountry Trail. Vogel State Park is extremely popular in the fall when the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains transform into endless views of red, yellow and gold leaves. The park also has a 22 acre lake that is open to non-motorized boats. During the summer months, campers can cool off at the lake beach with views of the mountains.
